it's not necessarily bad that way, but seeing my column/row resized as I'm doing it is better in my opinion. Snapping features when resizing a row or column as well as the "Fit Column Width to content"/"Fit Row Height to content" features, also when resizing a column/row I can actually SEE the column/row getting resized instead of just a dotted line moving along with my cursor and only showing the updated cell size when I let go of my mouse button.
